This course provides an in-depth look at the essential role of an ADA Coordinator in ensuring equal access and compliance for people with disabilities in public services. Participants will learn about the unique definition of disability under the ADA, the comprehensive responsibilities of an ADA Coordinator, and the critical obligations of state and local governments. The course will cover key areas such as:

- Ensuring accessibility in public programs and services
- Coordinating ADA compliance for public entities with 50 or more employees
- Managing daily tasks like planning meetings, ensuring accessible spaces, and arranging for sign language interpreters
